This event is now over. The three of us had a great time and did a lot of biking from Belfast, up to Fort William and then onto Ullapool. We did over 1200 miles in total, including the Apple cross pass and saw some amazing scenery. We also had a good bit of fun a few pints and generally enjoyed ourselves. The weather was 50-50 and that it did rain here and there but was dry when it mattered. Dave planned a great route, and there were no incidents along the way, looking forward to the next trip away. Additional photographs are available to view on the meet up.com website page for this group. We managed to get an hour or so a video from the Bike before the memory ran out, on the way up. See below.

It turned out to be a great fun weekend and we were very lucky with the weather. Dave G joined us on the Friday and myself and Pat did the coast staying two nights in Donegal with some spectacular B roads and places of interest along the way. It was a big surprise on the last night was the local bar in Ramelton. It looks like a quiet little old style country bar on the outside, but it was hopping on the inside with people, who turned out to be extremely friendly and welcoming to us. It was a great night and we didn’t get in till after three in the morning. To spin home from Letterkenny took us through Castleberg and Northern Ireland. We didn’t as much as touch a motorway all the way it was superb.
